Privacy Policy for Postiz Tap & Swipe
Effective date: October 11, 2026
Who operates this service
TAP & SWIPE SAS, based in France, operates the Postiz workspace at postiz.tap-and-swipe.com. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use that workspace. It applies to this Tap & Swipe deployment, not to other Postiz installations or Postiz's own cloud service.
For privacy questions or requests, contact support@tap-and-swipe.com.
Information we process
- Account and access data: information you provide when creating or using an account, such as your email address, name if provided, password credentials in protected form, and session information.
- Connected social accounts: account identifiers, profile information, permissions, and access tokens returned by a platform when you authorize a connection.
- Content you provide: draft and scheduled posts, captions, images, videos, publishing preferences, and associated results or errors.
- Technical information: information needed to operate and secure the service, such as IP addresses, request details, and error logs.
TikTok and other connected platforms also process information under their own privacy policies. Connecting a channel is optional; its authorization screen shows the permissions requested before you approve them.
Why we use this information
We use the information to provide the workspace, authenticate users, connect authorized social accounts, store drafts and media, carry out publishing instructions, troubleshoot failures, prevent abuse, and maintain security and backups. The legal basis is providing the service you request and our legitimate interests in operating and securing it. Where a particular action requires your consent or authorization, you may withdraw it through the relevant platform or by contacting us.
We do not sell your account information or social content to advertisers.
Who receives information
When you authorize a connection or publish content, we send the information needed for that action to the selected social platform, including TikTok when you choose TikTok. Hosting and infrastructure providers process data to run the service and backups. Access to the workspace is limited to authorized people who need it to operate or support the service.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, transfers are subject to the safeguards required by data-protection law. The connected platform's own privacy policy explains its separate handling of data you send to it.
Storage, retention, and security
We keep account, connection, and content data while needed to provide the workspace. You can remove content or disconnect a channel through the service where those controls are available, or contact us to request deletion. We may retain limited information when required by law or needed to resolve security or operational issues. Backup copies are rotated on an operational schedule and may persist briefly after live data is removed.
The service uses HTTPS and access controls. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so protect your login and review the permissions granted to connected platforms.
Cookies and sessions
The workspace uses cookies or similar browser storage needed to keep you signed in and operate the service. We do not use this Postiz workspace for cross-site advertising tracking.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. Email support@tap-and-swipe.com to make a request. You may also complain to your data-protection authority; in France this is the CNIL.
To stop TikTok access, disconnect the channel in Postiz and revoke the app's permissions in TikTok. Revoking access stops new authorized actions but does not automatically remove posts already published on TikTok.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above will be updated when we publish a revised version.
